Our borrowers typically need bridge or gap financing in order to make tenant improvements, complete pending projects, secure entitlements, or refinance. We know that the ability to secure financing in a timely manner can oftentimes make or break a project.
We also lend to people who have been unable to obtain traditional bank financing. We understand the difficulties in today's financing market and recognize that the fact that a traditional bank will not make a loan does not necessarily mean it's a bad loan to make. Our primary loan criteria are the value of the collateral and the objective feasibility of the project, not a formula driven by credit score. We want to lend to people who have a plan and the ingredients to make that plan a success.
